NBCSN’s partnership with the Premier League led to an opportunity to bring the new viewership to the web. Whistle Sports created “It’s Called Football”, a cheeky look at the clubs of the Premier League and their intricate, intertwined history.

As dailies were handled remotely during shooting, my main role was to support QC workflows, notes to editors, and scheduling milestones for the next round of edits. Asset workflow and coordinating graphics amongst the team was another priority as the six part series borrowed elements from each episode regularly.

As episodes were finalized, they were prepped for broadcast & ingestion for international broadcast as well as web for a ‘Boxing Day’ premiere overseas.

COLORIST

I handled color primarily on the Chelsea episode along with minor adjustments to scenes throughout the series. Highlighted frames from Chelsea below.
